WWW Wednesday- 11/04/18

Wow. I haven’t taken part in a WWW for so long! I’m actually quite excited to finally be getting back to an old habit :). As always, make sure to leave a link to your WWW in the comments & I’ll make sure to stop by!

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. The three questions are: What have you recently finished reading? What are you currently reading? What are you planning to read next?

images-11. Recently finished reading?

I recently (as in last night, recently) finished reading, or to be exact, listening to, an audiobook of Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. I found the book a tiny bit slow and the frequent descriptions of the setting, characters & scoreboard were ever so slightly tiresome. However, it was still a great read & I simply cannot wait to go see the movie.

images2. Currently reading?

I’m currently in the middle of reading Me & Earl & the Dying Girl and am absolutely loving it; it’s crudely funny and extremely relatable. I’m so glad that I’m enjoying it, especially as I get to meet Jesse Andrews later on this year! πŸ™‚

I also just recently (as in today, recently) started listening to an audiobook of People Like Us by Dana Meele and am finding it to be really interesting.

3. Planning to read next?

I honestly don’t know! It’s Not Me, It’s You by Stephanie Kate Strohm, Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli &Β The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzie Lee are all high on my list.

What are your answers to the three Ws? Feel free to leave the link to your WWW below and I’ll be sure to check it out. Happy Wednesday. πŸ™‚

I really enjoyed Ready Player One. It was a little slower than the books that I usually read and I got a little bored of all of the references after a while (admittedly I wasn’t alive in the 80s so didn’t really understand half of them). But it was still a good book & I’m expecting the movie to be even better.

I made sure to read Ready Player One as soon as I heard it was coming out in cinemas. It turned out to be quite an interesting read and definitely one that I’m eager to see turned into a film. Thanks for stopping by πŸ™‚

I can’t wait to read it! Unfortunately, my hold on it at the library expired and now I have to go back to the bottom of the wait line again :(. Hopefully it’s worth the wait once I do get my hands on it!
