These past few weeks have been pretty hectic for me, however, thankfully, my reading hasn’t fallen too far behind & I’m still a couple of books ahead of my Goodreads challenge schedule.
WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. The three questions are: What have you recently finished reading? What are you currently reading? What are you planning to read next?
1. Recently finished reading?
The Library of Unrequited Love by Sophie Diven. This book helped me tick off two categories for my Modern Mrs Darcy Reading Challenge as it was translated from French & I managed to read it in a day. It was enjoyable, if a little random & confusing at times.
I also finished Dates, Double Dates and Big, Big Trouble (the 2nd in the Ally’s World series) by Karen McCombie which was a nice filler read while I found something more engaging to pick up.
2. Currently reading?
One Perfect Pirouette by Sherryl Clark. This book has been on my physical TBR for a very long time. To be honest, I’m not really sure why I picked it in the first place as I’m not usually a fan of sport focused books. It’s well written and relatable at times, although the number of rhetorical questions is getting quite annoying.

3. Planning to read next?
I’m planning on picking up either Mun Mun or The Haters, both of which are by Jesse Andrews, next and after that, Illuminae (Amie Kaufman), Literally (Lucy Keating) or I Have No Secrets (Penny Jolson).
What are your answers to the three Ws? Feel free to leave the link to your WWW below and I’ll be sure to check it out. Happy Wednesday. π
The library of unrequited love’s title is cute π

It was ok. A quick & easy 3 star read. I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend it but then it was nice enough.

With Illuminae, seems like the reviews have been either love it or hate it – I haven’t read it, so can’t give my opinion. Adorable cover for The Library of Unrequited Love.

Definitely agree with you on Illuminae. I have some friends who loved it, however, it is quite long so I’m a little hesitant.

I’ve never heard of any of these books! But the cover of One Perfect Pirouette kind of reminds me of Catherine Dollanganger – she’s the female MC/narrator of my current read Petals on the Wind – and her dream is to be the best prima ballerina. It makes me want to go see a ballet show!!

I hope you enjoy Illuminae! It’s such a great book! I didn’t enjoy The Haters because of the characters, so I hope you have a better experience with it.
Have a great reading week! Thanks for visiting my post! π
